1 Resource Group is currently hiring for a Shop Mechanic with a focus on Tools and Equipment for our client in Sulphur, LA.
As a Shop Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing rental tools and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
Responsibilities:
Performing routine maintenance tasks, including changing oil, checking fluids, and lubricating partsDiagnosing mechanical issues and performing necessary repairs on diesel and gas enginesInspecting Tool and Rental equipment systems and components to identify any issues or malfunctionsUsing diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot Repairing or replacing faulty parts and components as neededPerforming preventative maintenance on diesel and gas engines to ensure optimal performance and lifespanKeeping accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performedAdhering to safety protocols and regulations at all timesCollaborating with team members and other departments to ensure efficient and effective operationsContinuously updating knowledge and skills related to diesel vehicle maintenance and repairRequirements:
High School Diploma or equivalentExperience in diagnosing and repairing tools and rental equipment Strong knowledge of forklifts, generators, trailers, handheld tool.
